Biomass wood pellet making machine is a machine that is used to press sawdust and other crushed biomass material powder into biomass wood pellets. The main difference between ring die pellet mills and flat die pellet mills lies in their structural design and working principle. Each has its advantages and disadvantages in producing wood pellets:
Ring Die Pellet Mill Advantages:
High Output: Vertical ring die pellet mills use a vertical feeding and rotating pressure roller design, resulting in uniform material distribution. The maximum output can reach 3 tons per hour, suitable for large-scale production.
High Pellet Density: High-pressure forming through a ring die achieves a density of 1.1-1.3 without additives, resulting in more stable forming effects.
Even Wear: The pressure rollers rotate synchronously with the die, reducing wear and extending service life.
Wide Applicability: Can process coarse fiber materials such as wood chips and straw; the vertical feeding design reduces the risk of material blockage.
Flat Die Pellet Mill Advantages:
Low Energy Consumption: Simple structure, suitable for family workshops, but output is limited (usually less than 1 ton/hour).
Low Maintenance Costs: Parts are easy to disassemble and assemble, but efficiency is insufficient for large-scale production.
Recommended choice: For family-run production or small-scale operations, a flat die machine is more economical; for high-efficiency and stable production, a vertical ring die machine is preferred.
The finished pellets is biomass energy as biofuel, which can replace coal, oil, gas, etc., widely used in power plant, boiler, and heating system.
